I will give a talk at siggraph2024 about a new way of evaluating bezier curves that I call Seiler’s Interpolation, using half the linear interpolations of decasteljau’s algorithm. I built an interactive demo: http://www.cemyuksel.com/research/seilers_interpolation/
See the extended abstract for the details.

@cem_yuksel Nice, I'm not even super advanced in mathematics but once I saw the (1-t)t and tried a few values it made sense.

@cem_yuksel Congrats! Maybe, you can test this interpolation with classical method in a mathematical software (i.e.

@cem_yuksel Any particular reason why you wouldn't define the curve with just Seiler points? I'm thinking, why bother with control points if they aren't needed to define the same curve?
