I learned the inner product in university but I had to wait another 10 years for me to deep dive into outer products on my own. This is probably my own fault for not taking more higher math courses.

Based on what I’ve seen, most universities don’t even offer the higher math courses that would teach the right concepts for a complete understanding. I’d like to see that change.
