Only constraint maybe is the sdcard they use on the carts… or if the cart is doing something complicated beyond data pushing?

Same conclusion here, but they didn’t yet get into what technology is on the M64 carts, so it’s still an open question. When they say “immune” to bit rot, then I’m thinking the official carts don’t use flash. But certainly a modern flash solution could max out the bus.
