What’s your opinion on the AI revolution as it relates to systems / low level programming. Assuming AI makes some SWE jobs obsolete (the ones easier to automate) do you think these types of coding jobs are the safest? or not really.

Unfortunately, I’m not optimistic that Assisted Intelligence will simplify things. I think the opposite will happen.

Tonanswer your question, a deep understanding of hardware and systems is always important. Bjt that does not link with what prople call “learning to code.”
