I think a common phenomenon I have occur to is there are a tons of ppl thinking that textbooks are their endpoint of the journey. Textbooks don’t answer a lot of questions, sometimes don’t provide sources, for the sake of brievity, but also resulting into a fake authority

That, yes. But my point was mostly about what to begin with. There are resources we can use to start and get our feet wet with a topic, and resources that we use to grow and evolve from the basics.
