I still find (and keep buying) programming books the best way to learn how to start learning a language or paradigm in the long run, the magic is in repetition and reminders along the way.

I’d assume that’s the reality for most of my followers, since our group doesn’t really dig the “fast-food” style of learning. But I’m aware that outside our circle people simply don’t care about the process of slowing down to improve the absorption of knowledge.

That’s true, I’ve seeing less and less care about a good craft e.g. in programming, video editing, arts in general.
Seems like everything NEEDS to be monetized, even your own self fun.

I’m not even complaining about paying for stuff (as you can probably guess from my own website). But I think speed goes against deep understanding.
