There is an odd tendency of modern society to make the assumption that if something is modern, it must be superior to the older equivalent, which is assumed to be incorrect or antiquated. While sometimes true, I argue that to make this as an assumption is patently absurd.

It’s very possible that we took a wrong turn at some point, and made a misstep that folks a few decades ago didn’t.

It isn’t like humans from 30, 100, or 1000 years ago were biologically different from today’s humans. Environmental factors held constant, they were just as smart. We would be fools to disregard so easily what history has to say.
