Make it replace start button search with this

This has gone through my mind multiple times as a recent windows update seems to have broken the start button search. When I open it, it’s stuck for multiple seconds, sometimes in the tens, until I can start typing. I completely snap out of deep focus every time it happens.

I think it’d be more suited to a global search tool more like Spotlight on macOS, or the GNOME search thing, which can be called up with a global keyboard shortcut.
Then you make it easy to keyboard navigate (for those who want it) and it opens FilePilot for directories.. my 2¢

Yeah it would specifically look for programs or maybe other categories of stuff you might want to look for. Finding all executables on your drive can be done in the milliseconds, probably micros if filenames are indexed
