@CharlieMQV In a big git repo what’s the difference between ripgrep and this?I guess noone uses this to search for a string on a drive, you will most likely be in a repo when using it.

@CharlieMQV Is the trick here using the MFT to filter to the files of the right type faster? Used a couple of MFT-based file-finders back in my Windows times and they were zippy

@CharlieMQV Parses the raw NTFS? Installs a IO driver or the win32 apis have a mode? I just have not heard of apps other than drivers looking at "raw" NTFS.

@CharlieMQV How does this software avoid race conditions with raw disk access when the OS might be writing changes to disk at the same time? Is the search best effort and may miss some matches if you're unlucky?
